Equatorial Hotel Malacca is one of our favourite hotels in this historic city. It is also one of our popular ones with room bookings on monthly basis. Due to this fact, we have decided to write an article about this hotel.

The most important factor that makes this hotel so popular is due to its strategic location, in the heart of the city of Malacca. Equatorial Hotel Malacca offers four hundred and ninety six (496) rooms. It is strategically located near shopping malls, historical trails and sites, museums, business districts and banks, night spots and the famous Jonker’s Street. The two restaurants that we would like to mention here is the Kampachi which serves delicate and delicious Japanese Cuisine and the Seri Nyonya Peranakan Restaurant that serves Peranakan dishes. We highly recommend you try them out as our pallet finds them deliciously satisfying. Other than food, the hotel also offers cable/satellite televisions, swimming pool, fitness centre, spa facilities and most important of all high-speed internet access. This is something that I actually can’t live without.

For the guest who drives to Malacca, the good news is that the hotel offers free parking. You need not drive when you are staying at this hotel.
